Ellen Gallagher “Bird in hand”

This animation was made digitally and it took me a while to finish it. The image was inspired by one girl who is doing professional yoga and whom I follow on Instagram. The initial idea was to make her standing in a yoga pose and a cat or dog playing around. So threw the process I just understood that I will draw her meditating and a cat will jump threw her lap around again and again. During animating I added a few more details on the girl’s clothes like dots on the top and string on the shorts, so it got more alive. In addition, she opens eyes while the cat is jumping, like disturbing her from meditation. All in all, I really enjoyed the process, but I definitely would like to change a few things in it, just to make it better quality.
